NOTE TO READERS: There are several OC Register stories that -- although prominent in the print Local section -- are absent from the horrible OCR website. The OCR posted this a couple of days ago: "New Goals For Our Web Coverage." I'd like to suggest two additions to their "8 pillars":
1) Develop a site search engine that isn't next-to-useless.
2) Ensure that stories in that day's print edition can be easily found online, rather than absent or buried deep amongst 3-7 day old stories.
