1st District Supervisor Receives Overwhelming Support from Local Community

(Orange County, CA) – Supervisor Janet Nguyen held her kick-off re-election fundraiser last night at the Santa Ana Country Club, and raised over $125,000 in a clear sign that the community has united around her candidacy.

The event’s Host Committee included the California Women’s Leadership Association, the Lincoln Club of Orange County, ATLAS PAC, and Orange County Republican Party Chairman Scott Baugh.

“I am humbled and honored to have the support of so many people from around Orange County.  I’ve fought hard to represent the men, women and families of the 1st District, and I look forward to the coming campaign,” said Nguyen.

The event, which was held on an evening that saw multiple fundraisers around Orange County, drew over 80 people that included some of the county’s most distinguished opinion leaders.  The amount raised surpassed all expectations, and provided the Nguyen re-election campaign with a substantial war chest to be used in the upcoming campaign.

“Janet will have the resources necessary to hold onto the seat she worked so hard to win, and the campaign will do whatever it takes to make sure the people of Orange County continue to be represented by an effective and capable Supervisor,” said Nguyen campaign spokesman Dave Gilliard.

No matter how much Janet Nguyen raises; she will face a run-off which is not a forgone conclusion in her favor.

Joe Dunn, Claudia Alvarez, or other Democrats will skin her on Nov. 4, 2008. Unless she can take a 50% plus 1 vote on June 3 which is very doubtful.

In last election, she didn't receive a majority of Vietnamese voters; thus, any Vietnamese candidate will spoil her chance.

The only winner in this race is Dave Gilliard! Go Dave!

"Corrupt politician with no principles?" You must be referring to Mike Carona, who is advised by Mike Schroeder, who likewise advises Trung. Birds of a feather stick together. Janet is not the corrupt one in this equation. Trung and the Trannies are.

Pedroza's at it again -- the usual hateful propaganda. Making false accusations against those he opposes. What else is new? He and Janet Nguyen flock together quite well.

Good Lord: Please make all these people realize that their hateful and snide remarks only make them look bad.

Please bless those who attack her, giving them kindness of heart, peace and a realization that their hatefulness will only come back to them doublefold, and that they stop what they are doing while they can still save their own reputations (or is it too late?). Amen
