Scott Graves and I landed in fabulous Las Vegas last night for the first Blogworld & New Media Expo. We've checked in at the media center and are cooling our heels until the morning's keynote session with Matt Mullenweg (the founding developer of WordPress) and Edward Sussman (president of the Inc.com and FastCompany.co, network of sites).
We linked up for dinner and drinks last night with a cool group of bloggers, incuding: Townhall.com columnist Mary Katherine Ham; Mike Krempasky, one of the founders of RedState.com and Kevin Aylward of Wizbang. This event promises to yield a trove of insight and contacts to help us improve and grow the Red County family of blogs.
Somehow I envision you guys all wearing propeller hats…
