Les,

i secretly love your airline commentary. I am a closeted aviation freak.

my dream is to have service from SNA/LGB-SFO with a low cost carrier. Do you see anything on the horizon with B6 and WN starting operations out of SFO.

I know VX started started the SFO-LAX after frontier dumped that route. But i hate driving up to LAX.

George, No luck at JWA. JWA's waiting list for new airlines is several years long. Air Canada is at the top of the list since January 2001. Southwest asked to add a million passenger seats this coming year but was turned down. The agreement between the county and Newport Beach does not allow for growth in service. See the El Toro Info Site for more on this. www.eltoroairport.org

Long Beach has slots open, but only for commuter aircraft of up to 90 seats, so that is the best bet for the additional service to SFO that you are seeking.
