Yesterday morning's Los Amigos meeting also served as a kick-off to the petition drive to force a special election to fill the seat of late Anaheim Union High Scool District Trustee Denise Reinking-Mansfield -- and undo to appointment of Harald Martin.
I brought along the Red County UnSteadiCam for video the various speakers, and I'll post it as I edit and upload to YouTube.
For starters, here's Los Amigos president Amin David discussing the petition drive -- fundraising, help from professional circulators, etc:
Amin then turns it over to Russ Barrios to discuss fundraising aspects of the effort:
Here's political consultant Dennis Desnoo talking about the nuts-and-bolts of the petition drive.
Al Amezcua makes some points:
OC School Board Trustee Alexandria Coronado gives testimony against Harald Martin:
Assemblyman Jose Solorio puts in his two cents:
Here's a snippet of Sen. Lou Correa offering to host an activist meeting in the next several days (I didn't hit "record" in time to catch the date):
DeSnoo is volunteering his time to this campaign. He asked not to be mentioned in any blogs and I respected those wishes. I would ask you to do the same and take this post and video down.
If you don't believe me, please call him. I commend him for stepping up, but he did not want to become part of the story, and I respect that too.
