An interesting tidbit in The Hill newspaper today: Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez debuts a new cable access program. The first guest, according to The Hill, is Pa. Democratic Rep. John Murtha. It is unclear if Gretzky the cat will make a cameo. I'm hoping he does and becomes the Charo of political television. (Unrelated note, who knew Charo had a website?)
These television programs are produced at taxpayer expense in a television studio located in the Rayburn House Office Building and are distributed to cable television stations in a member's district. It's common practice among Republican and Democrat Members of Congress to produce and distribute the programs. Here is an example of another member's program schedule.
I love Charo!

Does anyone know the program schedule for our local cable t.v. in Santa Ana/Anaheim/Garden Grove? Sounds interesting.
