From Red County/San Bernardino:
Chino Hills Mayor Pro Tem Curt Hagman has reportedly signed veteran campaign strategist Jim Nygren to lead a potential Hagman bid for California’s 60th Assembly District. The 60th Assembly District is currently held by Assembly GOP Caucus Chair Bob Huff, who is expected to launch a campaign for the State Senate (Margett’s 29th Senate District). Margett is facing legislative term limits.
This is an excellent move by Hagman in his preliminary stage of a race for State Assembly. In addition to being an top flight consultant and strategist statewide, Nygren has scored some tremendous victories in California’s Inland Empire region and is well-known to local Republican Party figures. Nygren’s instincts are trusted and he has a winning record to prove it.

As readers will recall, Jim Nygren also ran Lynn Daucher's campaign in her razor-thin loss to now-Sen. Lou Correa. He's a top-notch consultant. This is shaping up to be a very interesting race.
Last I chacked, the sole OC-based candidate in the race, MWDOC Director Larry Dick, had not yet selected a consultant, and I'm not aware that the LA County-based candidate, Mike Radlovic, had signed anyone either.
Is that a duet Hagman is singing with Nygren?
