The second issue of Red County magazine is wending its way through the United States postal system. Readers of the first issue will notice a marked change in the look and design, the result of our own internal critique and reader feedback. The result is a first-rate magazine.
A sampling of articles from the second issue is posted over at Red County.com. They include:
- The cover story on former New York City Mayor and GOP presidential front-runner Rudy Giuliani.
- "Covering Campaign '08" by Hugh Hewitt.
- A Michael Medved piece on Apocalypto, Mel Gibson and the divergent view of both by the Hollywood establishment and the movie-going public.
- An article on diversity (properly understood) and the GOP by public affairs consultant Jennifer Cowen-Fitzgerald.
- Westminster Mayor Pro Tem Kermit Marsh's examination of Kelo reform in the wake of Prop. 90's defeat.
- Plus, a profile of The New Majority by yours truly -- a sort of companion piece to my Lincoln Club profile from the inaugural issue.
