During a time when Supervisor Moorlach claims Deputy Sheriffs are no different than any other county employee, I think it would have been appropriate to post the story of the deputy who was stabbed several times by an inmate in the Orange County Jail this past weekend.
Maybe then Mr. Moorlach would understand why they take his comments so personally and maybe then Register Columnist Steven Greenhut would understand why they sent Chairman Campbell a letter stating that they don't want Moorlach to come to their funeral should they die in the line of duty.
