I need to go to Vegas, I'm hitting Immigrant Tan fiasco racist letter every time

Last Tuesday I predicted the Tan Nguyen campaign as involved in the racist letter when everybody was looking elsewhere.

Later that day I predicted that the context of the letter would be where the argument will lie. Tan so-called attorney Braniff brought up the "context" argument today.

I'm leaving for Vegas tonight because this congressionalrace is gonna get really ugly.

My Grandfather(and Uncle) who interesting fought in Vietnam recently told me in May that there is alot of anger in many Hispanics in America. He went on to say that it could only take one spark to set it all off.

Is this the spark he was referring too? I can't make that prediction.

What does fighting in Vietnam have to do with this? Go eat at a restaurant in Little Saigon. Vietnamese are not the only patrons or workers there.

Jose

You ungrateful Immigrant.

My grandfather and uncle did not fight over there so some Vietnamese immigrant political oppurtunist could impede his rights here.

"Go eat at a restaurant in Little Saigon. Vietnamese are not the only patrons or workers there."

I'm not understnding what point your making but I'm one of those patrons. Kim Su is my bi-weekly hangout with my Vietnamese working buddies.

Hello: The Federalist are a bunch of Wackos. They read the Constitution literally even though people can't even agree on what interpretation to apply to the Constitution.

"Hello: The Federalist are a bunch of Wackos. They read the Constitution literally even though people can't even agree on what interpretation to apply to the Constitution."

You are an idiot... or a leftist (maybe that's redundant). The leftists hate the Federalist Society because it consists of judicial conservatives.
The fact that people can't agree on Constitutional interpretation is why the Federalist Society exists (doh!): It disagrees with the phony 'living constitution' theory that liberal activists use as an excsue for their judicial rulings that trample on democratic rule and other branches of government.

The Federalist Society members understand that if we are to be a nation of laws, judges must read the laws as they are and not read into the laws and constitution their own predilections; good judges follow the text, meaning, original intent of the laws as written and rule based on that. In other words, judges should judge the law, *not* make the law. This simple common-sense judicial conservative philosophy is a challenge to liberals and leftists because following it prevents them from fixing 'injustices' in society from the court. Ya know, stuff like the fact that marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman, etc. Yet fixing the law is the role of legislators.

In short, the Federalist Society is the premier naional legal society defending and promulgating judicial conservativism. The best legal minds in America are in that group, and bashing it only exposes your own ignorance.

When Art calls you a wacko, you KNOW you're crazy.

Jose - show me your grateful immigrant card first. Your grandfather and your uncle fought in Vietnam because the US Govt. drafted them and sent them overthere. Or they had volunteered. The Vietnamese neither asked nor forced them into serving overseas.

My point was that Vietnamese and Mexicans get along for the most part. Besides Vietnamese I see more Mexicans eating "pho" than anyone else. Vietnamese restaurateurs hire many Mexicans. There's a cook/chef who has worked on Bolsa for over a decade and can speak Vietnamese.

Keep the Tan debacle to what it is, an isolated attempt by an overly ambitious amateur that has burgeoned into a national disgrace. It is not representative of the Vietnamese American community, and to the best of my knowledge, the OC GOP.
