Steve Greenhut posted this yesterday on Orange Punch:
Now that everyone is talking about Garden Grove Councilman Mark Rosen's possible candidacy for the first district supervisorial race after Supervisor Lou Correa beats Lynn Daucher in the Senate race, I figure it's time to mention Democrat Rosen's hostility to property rights. A supporter of eminent domain and of every bad idea proposed by Garden Grove's redevelopment agency in recent years (including a casino), Rosen recently tried to get Councilwoman Janet Nguyen kicked off as chairman of the city's redevelopment agency. Her crime? She supports Prop. 90, which is the statewide ballot initiative that would stop cities such as Garden Grove from taking homes and small businesses and giving the properties to retail stores, auto malls, Indian casinos and theme park operators. Nguyen also is a possible candidate for the supervisorial seat. By the way, Rosen is dreadful on the issue of public employees, as he pretty much gives them anything they want.
You could make the ironic case that bumping Rosen from the Garden Ggrove City Council up to the Board of Supervisors would actually help property rights, since eminent domain hardly comes into play at the county level.
That makes 2 of the 3 most talked about candidates for Supervisor (Rosen and Bustamante) being bad on eminent domain.
Janet Nguyen should tout her support for Pro. 90 far and wide.

Bruce Broadwater intiated legilation that made Garden Grove communist free but Mark Rosen had to try to steal the lime light by throwing in his two cents.
"Added Councilman Mark Rosen, speaking directly to the crowd: "As long as the people in Vietnam don't have the right to speak for themselves, the Garden Grove City Council will speak for them on behalf of freedom.""
Sounds like he's saying that the Garden Grove council will speak on behalf of the vietnamese people not the communist Vietmese regime.
What's the difference?
