OC Register reporter Norberto Santana is accompanying the Great Park Board on their European Vacation and has launched a Great Trip Blog at the OCR to chronicle the journey, complete with a Comments section.
Norberto has an acerbic and funny post on the delegation's visit to a small ubarn park in Barcelona designed by one of the Great Park bidders, EMBT. The park, as the photo by Norberto shows, is apparently plastered with graffiti.
Norberto also has some priceless shots of Irvine Councilman Stephen Choi in his interesting chapeau, and Beth Krom rolling in a shiny metal dish.
It's a nice looking blog, with all the normal functionality one expects. My question: if the Reg can build a normal blog with Permalinks for Norberto, why can't the do the same for their most popular blog, Orange Punch?
The should stop by and check out some airports while they are at it...

Someone has to keep that photo of Krom rolling around for next year's campaign(s). That's priceless. The mail pieces that come to mind ... endless ... so many great captions. Sigh.

I can't believe these guys are jettin around Europe on our dime. I'm surprised they didn't plan a trip to Red Square. Agran would be pleased.
They are planning a park! Am I the only one who doesn't understand the need to tour the world to figure out what people would like in a park.
Let me help. They want trees, walkways, perhaps a botannical garden, places for kids and sport teams to play. A duck pond and hobbyist area would be nice. Get the picture?

Because they would be flooded w/ negative comments about Greenhut.

Permalinks and Comments are two separate things.
