Another Former Republican

Thank God for Jim Gilchrist and the Minutemen!

Phil Paule

What has Jim Gilchrist ever done for the California Border Police ???

Great Job Councilwomen Harkey.

Grammar Police

Phil,

You mean to tell us there are multiple Councilmembers Harkey? God help us all.

Another Former Republican

Gilchrist has participated in numerous petition signing events and the Minutemen and other Gilchrist supporters are among the most active petition gathers. Arnie Chandler who Ray Haynes stated was the inspiration for the initiative, is an active Gilchrist volunteer. Gilchrist supporters take petitions with them as the canvass neighborhoods.

So what has Campbell done? Other than give illegals in state tuition and support amnesty?

Phil Paule

Dear Councilman Grammar Police:

If I was an English teacher I would fire myself. That is why I make a living in the political arena.

Dear Another Former Republican:

I asked what Gilchrist himself, not his supporters, had done. I do know that soon to be Congressman Campbell mailed out over 30K petitions. I guess when your money isn't tied up in bankruptcy court, you can do that kind of thing.

Ok got to go. I have a secert meeting with Mr. Earl & Co tonight.

Another Former Republican

Campbell did a hilarious photo op for the Campbell Dog and Pony Show for Gullible Republicans.

Silence Dogood

I think I'm a pretty good conservative Republican. I supported Gilchrist up until the Camejo joke/lunacy/whatever. I steadfastly support the Minuteman movement. I ABSOLUTELY OPPOSE the California Border Police Initiative. It's scarey how many so called conservatives support another futuristically bloated state bureaucracy, complete with ever increasing pension benefits and union power. With the demise of Prop 75, I suggest the Cal Border Police supporters pause and rethink.

Oh, that's right, they're way behind in signature gathering and won't meet the qualification requirement.

Ben Franklin

Assemblyman Devore aka Silence

Perhaps if the Gov had funded the Border Police rather then pretend spending cuts he would have had a winner last night.

Silence Dogood

I'm going to stop responding to suggestions I am DeVore. I'm flattered, really. I am not Assemblyman Chuck DeVore. I think he's a great writer. He's a little mechanical, but a great writer. He's a tremendous thinker. I appreciate that. But I think if you were to make comparisons of our work, you'd find glaring differences.

All right, that's the last time. Go ahead, maintain your erroneous beliefs if you want to. But I want to start getting some credit here. It's a little unfair to me that DeVore gets it all.

OC Voter

Perhaps if Campbell had funded the Border Police it would not be one more time he failed on the illegal immigration issue.

How was the election victory party with Jon Edward and The Greens Last Night?

Most likely, there would be no CBP discussion if it weren't for the Minutemen.

If I was an English teacher I would fire myself. -Paule
You couldn't fire yourself; you'd have tenure by now and therefore secure in both grammatical errors and typos.

I've never been involved in BK and I couldn't afford to mail out 30K petitions (but I'll compare my FICO score to yours or anyone elses).

AMEN !!!!

Assemblyman Devore aka Silence -Ben Franklin
I don't know who Silence is but I do know DeVore and it's not the same writing.

lanceman

I agree with Silence. The CBP initiative will just create another bureaucracy with salaries and pensions that will further break the state budget. And this doesn't even count the prison space it would require. How could they be effective with our borders with AZ, NV and OR?

I also was a Gilchrist supporter until I realized he is still finding himself. Ten years ago, I would have had no problem voting for John Campbell. With all the GOP establishment endorsements he's received there is no doubt in my mind that he'll do whatever Bush, Hastert and Delay/Blount tell him to do. Whether its the Cornyn/Kyle amnesty, the FTAA, the "Greater North America" plan that the Republicrats will try to shove down our throats, Campbell will go along.

Badger

I've always felt we should take over Mexico and make it one great big RV park, it almost is anyway. i think the CBP initiative is weak. Im all for defending this country but realistically if the Border Patrol aint getting it done, we do not need to create another group who wont get it done either.
