I.Q. (Irvine Queer) Meeting
16 November 2004
Informative meeting about homophobia in our community and what we can do to try and prevent Hate towards LGBT. We will be wearing of Maroon Armbands in remembrance of those our community has lost and providing hope that one day homophobic acts will decease.
Followed by CLUB NIGHT!!
Call me old-fashioned, but wouldn't a little more reverence be appropriate when remembering your fallen comrades? Wouldn't that be a tad more respectful of their memories than, "Let us observe a moment of silence for our brothers and sisters who have been victimized by homophobic violence...NOW LET'S PAR--TAY!!!"
