A Democrat Tear In The Orange Curtain?

Some late, catch-up blogging.

Must be a slow week at The Buzz today: the lead item is some fluff about John Edwards coming to Orange County, which Buzz proclaims has “been on a roll when it comes to visits from the highest-profile Democrats,” citing visits by Kerry, Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson and Tom Daschle in the past month.

It’s true those visits have occurred within the past 30 days, but is there any significance or consequences?  They weren’t in Orange County for the purpose of being in Orange County – they were addressing a huge union convention at the Anaheim Convention Center.  I’d say it was more happenstance than a “roll.”

This is the second consecutive Buzz item about how great things are going for OC Democrats.  Maybe Frank Barbaro complained about all the positive stuff about the OC GOP’s resurgence under Scott Baugh, and Buzz is trying to balance things out.
