The following is an op-ed by Erwin Chemerinsky that appeared in Thursday's Daily Journal. He writes about his vision for the new Donald Bren School of Law and the positive impact it will have in Southern California.
A New Law School

My plan had been to write a column when named as dean of the
Donald Bren School of Law at the University of California, Irvine, to
begin getting the word out that there is a new law school that will be
opening its door to students in 2009. I guess that the good news about
the events of the last week is that we now have the best publicized new
law school in the history of the planet.
